Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Farm Hub Jamaica ("the app"), operated as a sole proprietorship in Jamaica. By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Google account to use the app. By using the app you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Farm Hub Jamaica offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans, available through Google Play:

• Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
• Free trial: where a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. Cancelling before the trial ends avoids any charge.
• Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change via in-app notification.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play → My subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then.

Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly — please contact Google Play support.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass subscription gating or access paid features without a valid subscription.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
• Use the app to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content.
• Share your account credentials with others.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all farm data you enter into the app. By using the app you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including how to request deletion.

6. Availability & Updates

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. For paid plans, material reductions in functionality will be accompanied by a pro-rated refund or extension.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Agricultural guidance, weather data, and recommendations in the app are informational only — they do not constitute professional agronomic or veterinary advice. You remain responsible for all farming decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Jamaican law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including crop or livestock losses.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be notified in-app.
